Public Relations Plan

Two Media Exposure Ideas
1. Blast an announcement through the IU Indianapolis newsletter.
2. Launching free workshops and clinics to the mass to expose our services.

We could reach out to the people in charge of putting it together and ask them to spread it in the newsletter as a wellness event that is open to all incoming freshman that are having trouble with anxiety and are overwhelmed. I believe this will be a way to spread and expose the events we have with the freshman who are still plugged in to the newsletters to gain news about their campuses. If the general newsletter does not want to include it, we can request the emails of incoming freshman and begin to send out newsletters to them to promote our events. To get their emails, we could also partner with incoming freshman events and ask them to collect emails in the registration process. This would be effective because it would give us access to creating an email list and send out information biweekly on what events would be happening and promote our wellness clinic.

My other idea for media exposure is launching free workshops and clinics to the mass to expose our services. We could do a free workshop where people are able to put together a proper hygiene kit. They would be able to pick from many hygiene supplies and will be able to hear from students in each of these different sectors to learn about taking care of themselves better. We would bring dental hygienist students, nursing students, medical students, and more. They would provide information at this event, and it would help incoming freshman’s while also promoting our wellness clinic.
